The Iron Movement is a program with two major components, each designed to train young men in the areas of interpersonal health, self-care, and educational advancement.
The GLOW-UP program runs in 10-week sessions, each week focusing on a different aspect of personal development and self-awareness. After successfully completing the 10-week program, graduates are given certificates and are offered job placement with two partnering agencies.
JWR is a residential program that houses 8-10 young men with an emphasis given to individuals aging out of state care.
The goal of the project is to partner universities with inner-city, at risk schools. Inspiring teachers will be given an opportunity to tutor scholars who have very little exposure to higher education. This will not only help the scholars, but better prepare elementary education majors.
The Whole Family Foundation will assist in creating a program where our website is used as part of the curriculum for student teaching. Experienced teachers will supervise elementary aid majors, helping them master soft skills.
